Hi peeps, in my second blog i'm going to give a summary about drama script entitled Amy by Eric Chandler and i'm going to analize the script also.
Amy by Eric Chandler is a story about a lonely girl who feels desperate with her life because she lost her son, George. She wants to end her life by commit suicide but she always fail, she was helped by George an amnesia man that comes suddenly and asks for help to Amy while Amy can not helps him. How can Amy helps George while Amy can not helps herself. At the end of the story, there is a boy that calls Amy "mommy" but the name of the boy is did not mentioned. I assume that at the end of the story Amy dies and the boy that calls Amy "mommy" is George, her son. She meets George again but not in a real life, but in anothet life.
The setting of place is in Amy's house, in a living room, and in bathroom. The setting of time is noon.
From quantity, Amy is the major character but she is peripheral because her characterization is flat she just wants to die, the development of character is ofcourse static.
George is not a major character if we look from the quantity, but he is an antagonist character because he makes the story alive by saving Amy's life twice. The characterization of George is rounded known by he has an amnesia in the beginning of the story and suddenly remember everything.
